Biography

Jason Adams is a music educator, composer, and creative mind dedicated to reimagining music education through storytelling, student agency, and meaningful musicianship. A multi-instrumentalist with a background in vocal performance, Adams has spent more than a decade teaching privately, directing church music ministries, composing original works, and performing across a wide range of genres.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from Penn State University and is pursuing advanced study in music education, where his research and practice focus on narrative pedagogy, songwriting, and culturally responsive music learning. His teaching experience spans elementary general music, song writing workshops, private instruction in voice and multiple instruments, ensemble leadership, and curriculum development.

Adams is the creator of Ollie’s Music World, an immersive, character-driven music education framework that blends story, composition, improvisation, and historical exploration. Designed to cultivate creativity and confidence in young musicians, the Ollie ecosystem integrates national and state music standards with imaginative play, social-emotional growth, and so much more.

As a composer and songwriter, Adams writes for choirs, classrooms, and contemporary audiences alike. His work bridges classical training and popular idioms, reflecting influences from choral traditions, folk, blues, and world music. Whether in the classroom, on stage, or in curriculum design, his mission remains consistent: to empower musicians of all ages to discover their voice and engage deeply with the creative process.
